State of the Art Facility
Heritage Log Homes’ Facility Is State-Of-The-Art

Every log-home company starts its milling process with a piece of wood. But at Heritage Log Homes, it’s what we do with our timbers once they arrive on site that sets us apart from our competitors.

Our 75,000-square-foot, climate-controlled facility, located in the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee, is the world’s first fully automated log-home production mill, and we continue to lead the industry when it comes to designing and adapting sophisticated, cutting-edge technology.

All our milling equipment was conceived and designed by our own in-house production team and custom-made.

We invested heavily in this technology, because we knew that in order to make the best log-home product on the market, precision was essential. Our computer-controlled machinery can make cuts to within tolerances of 1/32 of an inch, guaranteeing that every single log component that goes into your home is going to be a top-quality piece of wood that fits perfectly with those around it.

Such precision also allows us to produce your log-home package with greater speed and efficiency and ensures that the smallest possible amounts of energy and wood are wasted in the process. Even our sawdust is continuously sucked away from the equipment via large vacuum tubes and recycled into material that’s used for animal bedding.
